Axe Cop

I don't know how I've gone this long without discovering the remarkably charming and wacky web comic, Axe Cop. It is the creation of a six-year-old kid and his 29-year-old artist brother.

Axe Cop's origins are fairly humble: "One day at the scene of a fire, The Cop found the perfect fireman axe. That was the day he became Axe Cop."

Arts And Farts And Crafts

My first attempt at a felt plushie from scratch. Kirby, with powerful sucking action (cappies beware!)

I was mostly pleased with the finished product, especially since I was winging it and the design kept evolving mid-process. I think it's pretty good for a first try. I would like to figure out a cleaner way to do some of the stitching, particularly around the layered mouth area.

Since this was my first one of this size, I didn't properly account for how some of the detail lines would be distorted after it was stuffed.
